Neurofeedback in a safe non-invasive brain training method which works as an electrical information detection system, noticing the differences in the brain’s activity.  With neurofeedback there is nothing put into the brain, but through a software monitoring EEG, it simply reminds the brain to self-regulate.  Because nothing goes into the brain and nothing comes out of the brain, we are simply “teaching” the brain to respond differently.  By offering the brain this information about what it just did, neurofeedback training helps the brain to notice what it is doing in the present moment, and the brain sorts itself out on its own from there.  This information allows the brain to organically re-organize itself, activating its own healing wisdom. As a result of training, clients have reported their brain to be flexible, resilient, and responding faster naturally.

At Shammah Health & Wellness, we use a new second generation type of Neurofeedback created by NeurOptimal®, which uses non-linear Neurofeedback.  Simply have the EEG sensors placed on the head and relax while listening to music.  Each session lasts 33 minutes while you just sit there and let your brain train itself.  Neurofeedback has been known to help with a multitude of neurological conditions which affect our everyday lives.  It can be used by anyone from a toddler to the elderly, and from a person suffering from some sort of neurological condition to a highly functioning executive who just wants to sharpen their cognitive skills a little more.  The uses are endless.
